Bathtub

I have been looking a different home designs and when I came across this bathtub I fell in love. I know I don't ever need to have this bathtub in my house because I would never come out! I am pretty sure it should come with a warning, once you own this you will turn into a prune. I couldn't imagine what my water bill would look like if I owned this. I know my husband is thinking note to self never own a house with a tub like this. I am pretty sure this will be in Heaven! Ok, maybe not but a girl can dream.

This came from Kohler's website and I am loving looking
at all the great things they have designed.

3 Year Old Birthday Party

My niece just turned 3 and she wanted an UP birthday party. We drove up to my sister's home to find balloons coming out of the house. Which my niece informed us that once her friends arrived the house would fly away. My husband had made Grape Soda stickers for Ellie badges and we printed them from www.zazzle.com. They turned out so cute! When anyone came in the house she put an Ellie badge on them. My sister did cupcakes for the kids and an amazing chocolate peanut butter cake for the adults. It was a perfect kid party! Of course now having a child I always forget to take pictures of my niece and nephew....here is the only one.
Here is Tyler with his Ellie badge.

Immersion Blender

My wonderful husband gave me an immersion blender for Christmas. Yes, I know that might sound like a gift most women would hate. I on the other hand get excited when I get a new kitchen gadget. I am now looking for any recipe or excuse to blend anything up. I am trying to find a good butternut squash soup recipe but I haven't found one that I like. I mostly wanted the blender for making my son's baby food. Baby food can be very pricey and it is so much cheaper to make. He seems to enjoy home made baby food better than the store bought stuff. I have been making sweet potatoes, bananas, peas, blueberries and anything else I find. I know a lot of moms who have spend double on what my blender cost to get a baby food processor, which is such a waste of money! It is basically a small food processor but those can be a pain to clean. The immersion blender has one attachment that comes off and you wash up really fast. Being a mom you look for the fastest ways you can clean.
